Wedding at Chippenham Park, a Sneak Peek

Something of a first for me on Sunday was the amazing English and Indian fusion wedding at Chippenham Park. A truly stunning wedding, with some of the hottest weather all year, surprisingly so for an August Bank holiday weekend!

I haven't had a chance to go through all the images I took but this one was easy to find, it stuck in my mind the moment I took it. A relatively simple image, in one sense, it portrays the Kanyadan wedding ritual, essentially the giving away of the bride to her groom. For me though, the placement of the hands and the beauty of the ritual powerfully symbolised the love this family have for one another. It felt far less about giving something away, than about how happy they all were to welcome Kai to their family.
